There are basic colors, daily colors, traditional colors and technical colors in Arka.

Basic Color

Arka has 10 basic colors. They often become a morpheme that makes a compound.

Basic colors: fir (white), ver (black), har (red), soret (blue), diia (green), imel (yellow), lette (brown), kaaf (pink), dolf (gray), lejemme (purple)
There is one more basic color in English; orange. varmil (orange) is not basic color, so an orange is yellow for people in Arbazard.

Daily Color

Basic colors are not enough for daily life, so people in Arbazard use more color names; daily colors.
e.g. duur (aqua) and varmil (orange)

Daily colors are also used to make a compound.
There are about 20 colors in daily colors.

Traditional Color (xistina)

In Mel calendar, a year has 365 or 366 days. And each day has its own color. The colors are called "xistina."
People use them when they want to depict a specific color though most of the people in Arbazard don't memorize all of them.

Technical Color

Technical colors are used by illustrators and so on. They are not used in daily life.

Color and Concept

Colors are related to various concepts.
Red is a warm color in any country. So colors are related to some concepts in Arka.

Rainbow

A rainbow has 4 colors in Arka; red, yellow, green and blue.
And the sun is white, not yellow.
The moon has various colors: cuuk (red moon), atiili (blue moon) and anjur (yellow moon)
